My husband is regretting getting married to me because of this ritual. Anuri muttered bitterly. She was the first to speak. My wife was crying all through the night. Ajayi said in agony.

My wife was screaming down the house the instant I let the cat out of the bag. Michael chimped in almost immediately.

If there's a way to save the situation, I wouldn't think twice to do so. I'm soooo frustrated about the whole situation. Mmachi said with a heavy heart.

Things have gotten out of hand and we must act fast before Udeku kills all our sons and daughters in his quest for power and authority. I'm heart broken, I wondered how I would stand my life. Anuri complained heartbrokenly.

There's nothing we can do in order to sacrifice them to him so that our kingdom will be at peace once more. Ajayi interjected.

So, what's the solution to this? Are we accepting this unfair death? James asked while directing his gaze to Ima. We must look for a solution. A way of escape immediately. Mark remarked.

Did your new deity contact you? James asked curiously as he expected a positive response from Ima. Yeah, she responded with a small smile that didn't reach her eyes.

Ima exhaled deeply before starting to narrate what transpired between her and the new God.

It was around midnight, and I couldn't sleep. I lay on my mattress reminiscing on all that has been happening in our kingdom lately, when suddenly a bright light shone in my room. I sprang up immediately out of fear and there *His* The voice came again. “I AM” . Was the first thing HE said. I AM powerful enough to fight for you and set you free from every captivity (Psalm 147:5; 126:1-6).

Time will tell. Grace said interjected. There's no need of dragging who the superior one is, in the next 48 hours we will know. Since you, Ima trusted this new God, we have no option but to trust Him too believing that HE would live up to His name. Mark finally mumbled.

That's insane, Grace shouted, how can you trust some god you haven't come in contact with before? Do you know how powerful Udeku is? He might even kill the new god and we will be gone? Grace asked angrily. I can't believe this. Grace blabbed nonstop.

She didn't understand why her friends would be so unreasonable as to trust a new god that they never knew all their lives. This is indeed a suicide mission. Anything can go wrong and we will be doomed forever. As much as she didn't want to die yet, she can't just go against Udeku. She can't trust an unknown god who claims to be more powerful than Udeku.
